How Kdramas serve as a therapy
K-Dramas are renowned for their original and clever storyline turns. The main plot of the show is usually interesting. Viewers are constantly interested in who is related to whom and how they are related. Here is a summary of the advantages that Korean dramas have given us. In addition to delighting you, I hope that this selection of Korean dramas will motivate you to take steps toward realising your objectives in this new year. The Kdramas that shaped my life are featured.
1. Promotes self love
The idea of self-love gained popularity after kdramas. I think accepting our true selves is the first step in achieving our goal. These
dramas helped me embrace myself and realise that I am more than enough and
deserve to be loved.
True Beauty:
This drama series portrays imperfections that are fixed in a
beautiful way. In this story, a female student who has been bullied her entire
life utilizes makeup to cover up her imperfections. She gives the outside world
a strong façade. She has internal struggles, though. In the end, she admits her
shortcomings and confronts her bullies in a mature manner.
She
was pretty:
The male hero in this story is attractive and wealthy as an adult, unlike the female character who was unlucky in both her physical beauty and financial status as a youngster. Due to her beauty concerns, the female lead (Hye-jin) asks her beautiful buddy to pass for her while she's away. Although there are many amusing secrets in this plot, the reunited people realize that their friendship is more important than anything else. More importantly, Hye-jin gains self-assurance and believe in herself.
2. Our One
Sided love
School 2015
I learned how beautiful one-sided love can be from this drama. My heart still aches for the drama's second lead. This drama wasn't therapy, but it nevertheless made it clear to me that being rejected doesn't necessarily mean you're not a good person. The second lead is my all-time favourite character in Korean dramas.
This drama features stories about two twin sisters, one of
whom went missing, as well as other school-related problems in addition to
stories about one-sided love. My favorite plot in this story is the one-sided
love between the two leads.
3. It
motivates us to do better
Start
up:
The state of your wellbeing depends on your purpose and passion. If you believe in your capacity to overcome challenges and accomplish your objectives, you'll succeed. That is the thesis of the K-thoughtful Drama. Many people have informed me that "Start-Up" validated their entrepreneurial experience and provided them the courage to persevere when things got challenging. In fact, from what I've heard, this K-Drama inspired a number of others to try their hand at entrepreneurship!
4. Encourage us to be soft and strong
Pinnochio:
The protagonist of the Korean drama Pinocchio, Choi In-ha (Park Shin-hye), realises her lifelong ambition to become a dependable journalist. Choi In-ha has Pinocchio Syndrome, which makes her hiccup whenever she tells a lie. Due to her illness, she was unable to pursue her dream of being a reporter, but she persisted and achieved her objectives. The story's central characters are continually divided between speaking the truth and making a statement, which focuses on the moral dilemmas that news reporters encounter. The most vulnerable and resilient character of all time is Choi In ha. She persisted in pursuing her objective despite being let down by her mother or the love of her life. She was soft and strong girl who achieved her goal.
5. Heal our soul (Mental health)
🍀Its okay not to be okay
Even the drama's name is reassuring. Despite being arrogant and attractive, the female lead is tormented by her mother's claims that she is a monster. Even though he was courteous and gentle, the male lead felt unappreciated by his mother's love. Both characters learn to mend and love themselves more as they fall in love with one another.
6. Kindness is the key
Hospital
playlist
This series does a fantastic job of digging deeply into the
personal lives of the five main characters, including the conditions with their
families and love life. As it is able to convey what they experience in a
really true and realistic way, a lot of people from all around the world have
fallen in love with the series. The show constantly emphasizes the importance of remaining courteous
in the face of others' impatience or demanding behavior and of avoiding
drawing unwarranted assumptions before fully investigating the situation.
7. Understand people better
Our
beloved summer:
People are the way they are for a reason. One cannot merely
classify this show as a romance drama. Fundamentally, it is a drama about how
people deal with universal human emotions like abandonment and loneliness. This
entire tale has a very genuine feel to it. Their growth appeared to be so
natural. The allure of the drama resides in how it exposes fundamental human
emotions in a way that lets us all empathize to some extent. It has a calming
effect on me like a warm cup of tea. For instance, the male
protagonist does nothing but mope around . However, it takes over 13
episodes to provide the viewer the information they need to understand why he
is the way he is. We’ll never know someone’s struggles until we walk in their shoes.
